Apples & Wine, Wine & Apples
Raise your glass, or apple, to the families at Christopher's Haven! In the crisp air of new Fall, nothing could be better than the great outdoors, paired with fine local wines and bright, fresh fruit.
You trip to the Nashoba Valley Winery with OYFP will include:
- A wine tasting and tour
- Complimentary wine glass
- Transportation in an awesome yellow school bus
- Breakfast
The Winery is also hosting its annual Harvest Festival on this day, featuring the McMurphy band, locally made ice cream, BBQ, and other food items for purchase.
NOTE: Apples (and peaches!) are pick-your-own and priced accordingly
SCHEDULE:
9:00am - Breakfast on Boston Common
10:00am - Buses leave promptly!
10:00am-3:00pm - Awesomely good fun times, including a tour of the winery and samples. Piece of advice: if you plan to buy a bottle of wine, do so well in advance of the bus departure time, as lines can get long.
3:30pm - Drop off at Boston Common
Tickets are $30 if purchased before September 3
$35 day-of
Online Ticket sales are now closed. On-site tickets will be available at $35
100% of the proceeds from your ticket will help provide a home for the families of Christopher's Haven, a shelter for out-of-state cancer patients at MGH.
